PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WALA) - Pascagoula police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested three men on various drug and weapons charges after executing a search warrant at a Sculpin Ave. home.

Law enforcement searched the Pascagoula, Miss. home on Monday and found guns and drugs. They also seized 10 dogs from the residence, including one that bit an officer.

One of the “numerous” pit bulls in the home was shot and another had a stun gun used on it after the dogs attacked the agents when they entered.

When the police executed their search, they found an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle with an expensive scope and bipod attached along with a shotgun and pistol. They also found felony amounts of marijuana, spice and bottles of liquid codeine which they said were to be sold.

Richard Price, 39, Kevin Hardiman, 27, and Derail Deflanders 39, were arrested on various gun and drug charges.

Price, who was out on bond for possession of stolen property charges, could face up to 360 years in prison and a $3 million fine for three charges of possession of controlled substances — marijuana, spice and codeine — within 1500 feet of a church.

Hardiman is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon which carries a sentence of up to 10 years and fine of up to $5000. He was convicted of several drug sales charges and is facing a violation of his house arrest. He could have to serve the remainder of his 20 year sentence from those convictions.

Deflanders was charged with misdemeanors: simple possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule III controlled substance, Lortab.
