MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - Bond has been denied yet again for Felicia Lee. She's the mother of Michael Lee, one of four Kyser Miree murder suspects. She was arrested in August and faces two counts of intimidating a witness in the murder case.

Her case has now been sent to a grand jury.

The district attorney's office said the threats occurred not once, but twice.

"July 25, she drove by the witness's house and said she was going to kill her," said Assistant District Attorney Ashley Rich. "Security was intense at the preliminary hearing, and she walks downstairs to the parking lot and confronts the witness again."

Felicia's first bond hearing, on August 24, was postponed until she could hire a lawyer. She appeared in court again on August 27. This time, bond was denied.

Sid Harrell, Felicia Lee's attorney, told FOX10 at the time she's entitled to a bond.

"A week with no bond on a Class C felony. I think she has one misdemeanor of selling alcohol to a minor. She has an IQ of less than 70, she is entitled to a bond," Harrell explained.

Judge Sarah Stewart said she did not give Lee a bond because the evidence has not been heard.

"I talked with Judge McKnight about what happened in his courtroom. I know he told me he set a preliminary on September 9th, he did that because he had only the contingency of counsel. He told me his intention on the 9th is to hear the actually evidence in the case at that time and that is when he will reconsider bond," said Judge Stewart.

Felicia's son, Michael Lee, has been charged with capital murder in the death of Kyser Miree. Jamal Lang, Bo Taylor, and Earnest Wiggins. They are being held at Mobile Metro Jail under no bond. The case has been sent to a grand jury.
