PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Jeffrey Feirley owns a number of storage units at Affordable Mini Storage in Pensacola.  Not only does he store belongings, but Feirley said this is how he does business, by stocking up on antiques and selling them.

"I make my living. I've raised 18 kids off this stuff. I've been doing it for 36 years," Feriley said.

But Monday morning, Feirley was traveling down North Palafox Street when he happened to look over at his end unit.

"I saw him when I rode by, I saw my storage unit up. I said, "Someone got me again," Feriley said.

But he didn't expect to catch the alleged criminal in the act.

"I just found him right here, climbing up over the boxes, throwing stuff out of my storage unit yesterday, and that's when I ran up to him," Feriley said.  "I told him to get his behind out, and all the stuff on the ground. I made him throw it back in the unit."

Feirley grabbed the suspect, identified as 49-year-old Elvis James Jordan, and didn't let him go until deputies arrived.

"I just held him for an hour. I didn't hold him down. I just grabbed him, held him. He wasn't trying to run or nothing," Feriley said.  "He wasn't getting away from me yesterday at all."

According to Feirley, the suspect entered through a hole in the chain link fence at the storage facility.

Deputies said Jordan was in possession of numerous burglary tools and property belonging to Feirley.  They determined Jordan had not only hit Feirley's units, but more than two dozen others, and 27 in all.

"This is the second time somebody broke in my belongings," Feriley said.  "It's been going on for years with me. They just love getting me."

But this time, Feirley proved he's had enough.

Jordan remains in the Escambia County jail under $30,000 bond.  He faces several charges, including 27 counts of Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure.
