Okaloosa police investigate stabbing on Shady Lane

OKALOOSA, Fla. (WALA) - The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that caused serious injuries to a man outside a mobile home on Shady Lane in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Sunday evening.

Deputies responded to a call of a stabbing at 701 Shady Lane around 7:52 p.m. on June 17. They found 27-year old Jason Allen Gafford of Poppy Street in Fort Walton Beach bleeding on the ground.

Gafford was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

Witnesses say a car stopped in front of the trailer and a man got out. He and Gafford began to walk out into the yard but then began fighting in the driveway. After the fight the other man ran back to the car and left.
