MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - While deputies with the Mobile County Sheriff's were serving an eviction notice, they said they discovered a large marijuana growing operation inside a home Monday.
Zachary Edmond,30, is charged with trafficking marijuana. Investigators said he was growing the pot right inside the home he shared with his parents. Charges are also pending against Edmond’s father Erving Edmond.
"The people admitted to growing and selling it there," Lori Myles with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office said.
There was personal property piled up outside the home Tuesday. Family members were loading a moving van out front.

On Monday, March 5, sheriff's deputies said they found something unexpected that led to Edmond's arrest.
Sheriff's officials said the deputies noticed the family moving equipment used to grow marijuana. That's when narcotics officers were called.
Lori Myles with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office said it was a pretty elaborate set-up with equipment in the attic and other rooms of the home.
Deputies found more than 450 marijuana plants, 2 1/2 pounds of cultivated marijuana in mason jars, cash and guns.
"When you grow it this way you're controlling the environment. You're controlling the water, the lighting and all of that so you really have to have a closed in room to it," Myles said.
Court records show the family was being evicted after losing the home in foreclosure.
Myles said the sheriff's office was just about to launch an investigation into the home after receiving a tip about illegal drug activity there.
Deputies said Erving Edwards is expected to turn himself in Wednesday.
