Man shot on Toulminville's King St. dead from injuries

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Monday, Feb. 25, Mobile Police said Cedric Riley died after he was shot on King Street in the Toulminville community Sunday afternoon.

Police said on Feb. 24, 2013 at 12:07 p.m. Mobile Police responded to King Street for a report of a man shot.  Upon arrival, officers found 34-year-old Riley with an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported in a private vehicle to the hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Authorities haven't released the victim's name, but said detectives are continuing the investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident, is asked to call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211.
