One shot on Texar Dr.; details unknown

GOULDING, Fla. (WALA) - Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies said they are investigating the shooting of an adult male on Texar Dr. early Monday morning.

Deputies said they were alerted that the man was at a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury around 3 a.m. Monday. He had been transported by a private vehicle.

When they interviewed him, authorities say he told them he was shot about ten minutes prior at the intersection of Texar Dr. and Tarragona St. in Goulding, Fla., just north of Pensacola. Deputies went to the area and found a crime scene.

They canvassed the neighborhood and witnesses reported hearing a disturbance, followed by shots.

The ECSO says there are no reports available in the incident, but they are continuing to investigate.
