Police: Bank Trust on Dauphin Street robbed

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE, Feb. 6 9:32 a.m.: Police have identified a suspect in the bank robbery at the Dauphin St. BankTrust as Parris Audwin Smith. They have asked for the help of the public in locating the suspect.

Feb 5.: Mobile Police are investigating a bank robbery.

Officials said it happened around 11:36 a.m. Tuesday morning, February 5 at the Bank Trust on Dauphin Street.

Police said the suspect went up to the teller and demanded money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.

They said the suspect left the bank on foot going eastbound, then got into a crimson colored PT Cruiser.
