PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola police have identified a suspect involved in a shooting on North Davis Highway.
Vernon Stewart Polk is wanted for a shooting that happened Monday. Police have active warrants for his arrest on charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Davis highway. Police said Polk shot a man and a woman who were sitting in a vehicle. After they were shot, the female victim drove them both to the hospital for treatment.
They were admitted in serious condition.
Polk is described as 6’2” and 155 pounds. Police say he has black hair and brown eyes.
