PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola police said they arrested a Fort Walton Beach man after he drove to Pensacola under the impression he was going to have sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl.
Police arrested Joshua Baker, 22, Friday night on charges of using a computer to solicit parent guardian consent, traveling to meet using a computer to solicit parent or guardian and using a two way communication device to facilitate a felony.
Police said Baker began talking to PPD detective Jeff Brown over the internet on Tuesday Feb. 26. They said the suspect thought he was arranging to have sex with Brown’s daughter.
The detective organized a meeting with Brown the night of Friday, March 1.
When Baker arrived around 7 p.m. on Friday, police said they arrested him.
