Eighteen auto burglaries spur Satsuma safety meeting

SATSUMA, Ala. (WALA) - In response to a rash of car break-ins in Satsuma, the police chief there has asked residents to take part in a planned meeting to discuss ways to improve security in Satsuma neighborhoods.

The meeting with Police Chief Chris McLean is scheduled for Friday Feb 22, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office website, 18 auto break-ins took place in Satsuma between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The My Neighborhood tool on the MCSO website says the incidents were all reported Tuesday, February 19.
