ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WALA) - The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating a series of copper thefts from a Power South substation located on the west side of Greek Cemetery Road in Robertsdale.
The BCSO said the first theft occurred on August 22; the substation was hit again on August 29. Authorities have released several pictures of the individual suspected of the thefts. It is believed that the suspect(s) may be accessing the property by four-wheeler.
Investigators have attempted to verify the suspect’s identity by other means but have had no success.
They are urging the public to come forward if they have any information by contacting Investigator Lee Paul at 251-972-5889.
