MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police say they arrested two suspects involved in two separate robberies in the Mobile area.
MPD says they arrested 25-year-old Korey Harmon and a 17-year-old suspect for two robberies after an officer spotted the dark-colored SUV described by the victims.
Mobile police said the first robbery took place before noon on March 1 at the Murray House on 1257 Government Street. Officers discovered that two male suspects approached the victim, and took money from him at gunpoint.
Officials said the next day, Saturday, March 2, two armed male subjects approached a woman on Hunter Ave. and demanded her property.
Officials said, a short time later an officer saw the vehicle in the area and detained Harmon and the juvenile.
Harmon is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count fraudulent use of a credit card. The juvenile faces fraudulent use of a credit card charges.
The detectives will continue the investigation. Anyone with information about these incidents should call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211.
