MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Not too long after the Airport Boulevard branch of New Horizons Credit Union opened to start it's week, two men came in, armed.
"What we know is that two males, had their faces covered up, walked in and made demands for money from the tellers. They were able to get some money," said Cpl. Chris Levy.
Police aren't releasing the amount of money the men stole, but said they left the branch traveling east bound on Airport. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
"We're working on that right now, we're going through to see if anyone saw anything and maybe, someone who didn't realize what they were seeing maybe saw the vehicle and call police," Levy said.
Police said all they know at this time was that the men left in a tan vehicle. Police said luckily no one was hurt.
One of the suspects is described as 5'6, around 150 pounds. He was wearing a white bandanna and white coveralls.
The second suspect is described 6'0-6'2, stocky build, also wearing a white bandanna and white coveralls.
If you have any information on this incident, you're asked to call Mobile police.
