MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Three people were arrested after authorities found drugs, guns and a 4-year-old inside the car with them during a traffic stop.

The Mobile County Sheriff's office said Cecily Colvin, Clarence Lee and Miles Alexander were arrested just down the street from their home on Sept. 18.

Deputies said DHR officials visited the home on a site check and told them they saw ingredients to manufacture meth. When deputies got to the home, they found a grandmother and a 2-year-old.

They also found supplies for manufacturing methamphetamine and precursor chemicals.

While the deputies were there, Colvin, Lee and Alexander returned to the house. When they spotted a deputy's car in their driveway, the group tried to turn around. A deputy pulled them over and found prescription pills, methamphetamine, an altered 9 mm pistol and Colvin's 4-year-old daughter.

The children were turned over to the DHR.
