Two arrested after drug search executed

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Street Crimes unit arrested two people they said were involved with distributing marijuana.

Deputies executed a search warrant on Lark Street at Nov. 16 after finding out from a confidential source that Brandon Fortune was distributing the drug.

Authorities said Fortune, 27, and 36-year-old Cameron Sanders who was also living at the residence, had marijuana, pills and paraphernalia.

Deputies said they seized scales and items used to package marijuana, as well as pot already packaged for distribution.

Sanders was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fortune was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
