BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - Baldwin County Sheriff's Office officials said they busted two men in a car with 147 grams of synthetic marijuana, or "spice."

Investigator Eric Winberg said when members of the BCSO's Special Operations Unit conducted a traffic stop on I-10, they found Adrian Jackson and Charles Washington of Jackson, Ala. in the car with the controlled substance, as well as a gun.

Jackson and Washington were both charged with trafficking of a controlled substance analog; Washington was also charged with carrying a pistol without a permit.

Winberg said the men confessed that they were on their way to Jackson from Pensacola with the intent to sell the synthetic marijuana for profit.

Authorities said both men were booked into the Baldwin Co. Correction Center without further incident.
