One dead after Pascagoula shooting

One victim survived, suspect in custody

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WALA) - UPDATE 1/20, 3:29 p.m.: Adrian Orville Moore, who was currently in custody for two counts of aggravated assault is now been charge murder and aggravated assault.

1/20, 11 a.m.: Police said an unknown person shot two men as they walked on Convent Ave. in Pascagoula early Sunday morning, injuring them.

Pascagoula police said one of the two men, who were brothers, was able to call 911 around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday. Both men were transported to Singing River hospital to be treated for injuries.

When authorities arrived, they learned from a victim that the suspect had walked toward them near the Progressive Club and began firing.

Sergeant Calvin Hutchins said one man was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound when police arrived.
