Baldwin County Pre-K registration

BALDWIN COUNTY - Baldwin County Public Schools will hold registration for the Title I pre-kindergarten program. Students may register if they live in one of the following school attendance zones:

Tuesday, February 9:
Bay Minette Elementary
Delta Elementary
Elsanor Elementary
Loxley Elementary
Perdido School
Pine Grove Elementary
Rosinton School

Wednesday, February 10:
Elberta Elementary
Foley Elementary
Magnolia Elementary
Robertsdale Elementary
Silverhill School
Summerdale School
Swift Elementary

Class size is limited at each school. For a child to be eligible to register for the pre-kindergarten program, parents must bring their child to the school to complete a screening assessment.

Parents also need to bring a certified birth certificate and proof of residence, which could be a current power bill, current cable TV bill or current W-2. Children must be 4-years-old by September 1, 2010.

Pre-kindergarten classes will operate five days a week from 8am to 3pm at the selected schools and will follow the Baldwin County Public Schools calendar. Parents are required to provide transportation to and from school each day, send their children for the complete allotted time each day, and attend parent workshops.

Make-up registration will be held on Friday, February 12th from 8am to 2:30pm at the Loxley Central Office Satellite. That address is 1091 B Avenue in Loxley. Parents will need to bring their child and the required documents for make-up registration.
