UM classes canceled due to power outage

MOBILE, Ala. - University of Mobile officials say Tuesday afternoon and evening classes have been canceled at the University of Mobile.

Earlier Tuesday afternoon a concrete truck hit a utility pole, causing power lines to touch. This incident caused power outage at the university.

School officials are asking folks who have classes scheduled not to come. The main concern is not having lights and air conditioning and dealing with the heat.
