Daphne wins HiQ match

SATSUMA, Ala. (WALA) - It was a close contest at the half.  But one of the visiting teams pulled ahead to win during the second half.

The HiQ academic quiz program in Mobile and Baldwin counties traveled to Satsuma High School, where a large and enthusiastic audience watched the match between Satsuma, Daphne and B.C. Rain High Schools.

At the half, Satsuma held a 3 point lead over Daphne, but in the second half of the contest, Daphne outscored Satsuma 14 to 4, sealing the victory.

The final score:  Daphne 26, Satsuma 19 and B.C. Rain 9.
