Man dies following house fire

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say one man is dead following a Bradenton house fire.

Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue reports that firefighters responded to the home Tuesday morning. Officials say 62-year-old Gail Dollinger was outside the home but in cardiac arrest when firefighters arrived. Rescuers tried to revive Dollinger, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
