Grand Boulevard: Christmas on the Coast

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. - Christmas on the Coast begins in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin on Friday, November 27 and is celebrated every weekend through Christmas as the Town Center is transformed for the holiday season.

Each Friday and Saturday night, strolling carolers and twinkling lights will greet visitors, providing a beautiful and inspirational setting for enjoying the Town Center, shopping and dining.

Christmas on the Coast features performances from the Pro Arte Chorale of Northwest Florida, Blast From The Past, The Scrooge. The Pro Arte Chorale performs traditional holiday music throughout Grand Boulevard's Town Center every Friday night from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Blast From The Past and The Scrooge, are a cappella groups performing Saturday night, November 27 and December 5. Don't miss this opportunity to hear and experience the timeless traditional holiday songs that we all know and love, and to rock out with some of the most wonderful 50's & 60's holiday songs ever written. This uniquely exciting a cappella group will truly take you on a magical journey down memory lane that will have "Ole Scrooge" himself tapping his feet.

The Northwest Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform Saturday, December 12 and 19. The group is comprised of 50+ talented students in grades 5-12 from Okaloosa, Walton and Santa Rosa Counties. String Shock is the newest element providing a small orchestra made up entirely of electric instruments. The string quartet from the youth orchestra, comprised of two violins, viola and cello will also be placed throughout Grand Boulevard, playing festive holiday tunes.
