Seventh graders publish nature e-book

GULF BREEZE, Fla. (WALA) - Students at Woodlawn Beach Middle School published an eBook that reached #1 on the iTunes Book Store and their teacher wants your help to get them back up to that position.

The book, called "Creatures, Plants and More! A Kid's Guide to Northwest Florida was rekeased on April 26 and held the top position in the nature category on the iTunes store until May 7.

The book, which was published by a seventh grade class at Woodlawn Beach Middle school, is interactive and contains pictures, videos and text related to the wildlife that can be found in Northwest Florida.

Andrea Santilli, the students' teacher said those hwo download the book will not be disappointed in what they see. She encourages those who download the book, available only on the Apple iPad , to pass it on.

"My kids have worked hard and I am extremely proud of them," she said.
