WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) - The Walton County Sheriff's Office said roads throughout the area are being flooded by rain water on Saturday.
Bridges in the area are also threatened by water, and officials say to use caution in the following areas:
- Cowford Rd—rough but no structure threat
- Laird Rd—water about 18 inches from bottom of bridge
- Shoal River in the area of 1087—flooded but no structure threats
- Raley Rd—about 3ft from bottom of bridge
- Engles Rd—about 1ft from bottom of bridge
- Dead River Road is passable to the end but a lot of standing water
- Camp House Landing and Lonnie Miller Rd passable but there is standing water
- 1.5-2ft from bottom of bridges on River Road. Water is flowing across @ 2191 River Road.
- Bruce Creek on Mckinnon Bridge Road (1st bridge from 83) is about 1ft away from bottom of bridge
- Bruce Creek has risen, along with Seven Runs
- Southern most bridge on Long Road has water close to bottom of bridge
- Bridge on Co Hwy 181 @ 8 mile creek has water touching the bottom of the bridge
- Flowersview Rd has standing water but passable
- Indian Creek Ranch Road is flooded at bridge
