PENSACOLA, Fla. - "I'm shocked, I'm hurt, I'm disappointed. I'm all of the above, we did not expect this," said Sandy Sansing of Sandy Sansing Chrysler.

Sansing's dealership is closing its doors after six years of business. The locally owned car dealership in Pensacola found out Thursday it was one of the nearly 800 dealerships Chrysler is shedding.

"The economy's bad. I guess we're just victims of the bad economy like everyone else," Sansing said.

He said he's not sure why his dealership is being shut down, but it is one of the hundreds on the closing list that sell more than one brand of automobile.

"I don't know why. I don't know how it happened," he said. "I know it hurts us, but somebody made the decision in Detroit."

The dealership will close for good on June 9th. Sansing says it's especially tough on his employees who need to find a job quick. "We've got 40 great employees. My biggest concern is for my people. I hope we can somehow help them find another job. That is a concern that weighs heavily on me."

In the meantime, Sansing says he has to clear his inventory and he'll likely take losses doing it. "It hurts me," he said. "It hurts our employees, but we're going to try to be survivors and do the best we can."

Lee Jeep in Fort Walton beach is also shutting down.
