BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. - Baldwin County Public School students who wish to participate in summer school should take note of the following:
Summer School will be hosted at Fairhope Middle School and
Fairhope High School
Student Attendance Days: Monday, June 1 – Tuesday, June
16 for first session. Second session begins on Wednesday, June 17
and ends on Thursday, July 2
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Classes will be held Monday through Friday. Students will
have one twenty-five minute break (Lunch items will be sold)
Cost - $150.00 per term or $300.00 for both terms. Payment:
Money order, cashier's check or cash – No Personal Checks
If a student is absent for more than one day, he/she will be
withdrawn from summer school, and money will not be refunded. If a
student withdraws from summer school, money will not be refunded.
Late Registration will count as a missed day of class when counting
absences.
Transportation will be provided from designated pickup points
throughout the county. For information concerning bus routes and
schedules, please contact Jimmy Nazary at 580-1894.
Reminder: Those students who attend schools in the Fairhope
feeder pattern (Fairhope High, Fairhope Middle and J. Larry Newton)
will not be transported and must make arrangements for their own
transportation to and from summer school
Parking : $5.00 Students who want to park on campus must
bring a photocopy of their driver's license, insurance card, and
tag registration. These forms are to be copied onto one sheet of
paper before the student comes to summer school. Copies of these
forms will not be made at summer school.
Students must wear uniforms every day.
Parents may contact their child's school counselor or Dr. Joyce Woodburn at 972-6864 if they have questions concerning summer school.
