DUI suspect hits pedestrian

MOBILE, Ala. - Mobile police arrested a driver last night who they say struck a pedestrian with his vehicle, killing her. It happened around 9pm on US Hwy 90 (eastbound) at CoCa-Cola Rd. Police say Farshid Stephan Davis was under the influence of alcohol when he hit the woman.

The woman has not been identified, but police say she is a white woman. Davis is charged with DUI.

The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing this case to determine whether the DUI charge will be amended.
