Eric Buzbee found not guilty

BAY MINETTE, Ala. - A Baldwin County jury has acquitted Eric Buzbee in the murder of Spanish Fort service station owner Bobby Wilson.

"It's been a long four-weeks for everybody in that courtroom but it's been a long 2 years for Eric Buzbee."  said John Beck, Buzbee's Attorney.

Buzbee was accused of killing service station owner Bobby Wilson.

Wilson was beaten and robbed inside of his Spanish Fort service station in August 2007. He later died from his injuries.

This was the State's third attempt at prosecuting this case. The first trial ended with a hung jury, the second with a mistrial.
