Swine flu vaccine clinic

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ala. - The Washingon County Health Department will be having an H1N1 Vaccination Clinic on Friday beginning at 8am. The clinic will last until 5pm or until the vaccine runs out.

Limited quantities of the vaccine will be available for the following groups:

  • Pregnant women
  • Household and caregiver contacts of children younger than 6 months of age (parents, siblings and child care providers)
  • Health care and emergency medical services personnel
  • Persons from 6 months - 24 years-old
  • Individuals 25-64 years old with medical conditions associated with a higher risk of flu complications (asthma, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, HIV and certain types of arthritis)
