DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) - A search of the home of a man who brought a pistol, rifle and ammunition into a Fairhope church revealed that the man owned a number of weapons.
The federal criminal complaint against Robin Hernandez details what authorities found just days after police say he brought loaded weapons into a Fairhope church.
During the search, authorities seized a 12-gauge shotgun with a round in the chamber, several other high-capacity firearms, homemade pipes and marijuana residue and seeds.
The complaint says several pertinent documents were also seized during the search including two notes containing "threatening phrases."
The complaint says the day before the church incident, Hernandez delivered a six-page manifesto entitled "A Freeman's Manifesto." In it, authorities say Hernandez addressed his dissatisfaction with the pastor and several members of the church.
Hernandez is facing federal and state charges . He is schedule to appear before a federal judge Thursday.
