BAY MINETTE, Ala. - Mobile County middle school teacher Charles Lewis, Jr. was in court again this morning facing a DUI charge. The Causey Middle School teacher was arrested on January 4, 2010 after he wrecked his car in Baldwin County.

The judge granted Lewis a stipulation, meaning Lewis did not plead guilty or non-guilty. By arranging a stipulation, Lewis reserves the right to appeal a ruling. If Lewis decides to appeal, he has 14 days to do so.

Today, the judge ordered Lewis to pay a $600 fine plus court costs, and undergo 24 months of unsupervised probation. He could also face having his driver's license suspended.

Fox 10 News reporter Libby Amos was in the courtroom and will bring you the latest details tonight on Fox 10 News at 5pm.
