Attempted smash and grab caught on tape

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office needs the public's help in identifying suspected in an attempted smash and grab.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, November 7 at the Country Convenience story on County Road 64 in the Rosinton community.

Authorities say the video shows a dark green 2003-2006 Chevy Silverado extended cab step side that was used. They say the video shows the truck smashing into the front doors, knocking the glass out.

Officials say two men go into the store and try to break into an ATM and the store's office. They say they didn't manage to steal anything, but did cause thousands of dollars in damage.
