Baldwin Co. adoption, rabies clinic

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (BARC!) - The Baldwin County Humane Society and Rehm Animal Clinic at Timber Run are holding an Adopt-a-Thon and Rabies Clinic on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Rehm Animal Clinic located at 12481 County Road 64 in Loxley.

The doctors at Rehm will be giving vaccinations from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The price is $12.00 which includes the tag. The Adopt-a-thon will run from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., rain or shine.

Come and take advantage of this opportunity to vaccinate your dog or cat, meet a new family member and tour this great clinic.

This is a milestone adoption event for BARC!, as we will have almost EVERY dog that we have available for adoption at this event. This will include the remaining Summerdale rescue dogs who have been living at this clinic for almost six months.

It’s easy to forget these animals as time slips by. However, as we look at the dogs and cats that still need homes, we are not afforded that luxury. These dogs have been boarded for too long and desperately need forever homes.

The cats and kittens will not be at this adoption event, but can be viewed at www.baldwinhumane.org , on Petfinder, or visit them at PetSmart at Eastern Shore Centre or Old Tyme Feed in Fairhope.
