BALDWIN COUNTY Ala. (WALA) - There are new updates in the case of the murdered member of a local motorcycle gang member.
Samuel Dixson’s body Dixson's body was found in a ditch near Styx River Wednesday, September 12.
Two members of the gang have been charged with murder, and deputies have charged a third suspect.
Today, a clubhouse on Northcutt Lane in the Rosinton area is no more. A former hangout for the Devil's diciples motorcycle gang is now a charred collection of debris and ashes.
And authorities think it was burned to hide evidence of the murder of one of the club's own members, 54-year-old Dixson.
Dixon’s wife Analyn said, "It's hard for me without him...I don't know."
Two men were later charged, Fred Weiss of Northport and Adam Mayton of Newbern. Authorities said the two are fellow gang members, and Weiss is a chapter president.
Samuel Dixson’s brother-in-law, George Armstrong, said, "They (were) supposed to be a brotherhood. And a brotherhood, they protect each other."
Weiss and Mayton had a bond hearing on Friday afternoon, and a judge set a bond at a $1 million each.
Officials have also arrested 48-year-old Mary Kay Hockett. She’s been charged with hindering prosecution and her bond was set at $100,000.
The Baldwin County DA’s office said if any of the three suspects make bond, they must be under house arrest and they must be monitored by GPS.
But authorities said this investigation is getting bigger. And it spans across the state of Alabama.
Major Anthony Lowery with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said, "The sheriff's office has made an additional arrest (Friday) morning, and there are others on the way."
Also Thursday night, investigators searched a Devil's Diciples headquarters in Tuscaloosa.
Lowery said, "We're getting pretty close to why things happened and what exactly happened. We're not ready to release that at this time."
FOX10 reached out to the national Devil's Diciples organization for a statement. A spokesman didn't know the details of the case but did write:
"Whatever happened is a terrible tragedy for all concerned and our condolences are forwarded to the families of the effected {sic} individuals."
Analyn Dixson is struggling to come to terms with what happened.
She said, "(Samuel's) very kind person. He done everything to me to make happy, all my friends."
Officials say more charges could be coming.
Armstron said, "They'll pay for it and God will be the judge."
The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office has more than a dozen investigators in this case.
It has also reached out to the FBI for more assistance.
