The Haven holds annual Dog Wash

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (The Haven) - Is your furry friend a little fresh? Is your pooch more dirt than doggy?

The Haven has a solution for you. They'll be bathing dogs Sunday from 1-4 p.m at the American Legion Post at 700 South Mobile Avenue.

Haven volunteers, under the guidance of June Steele, the owner of "Dog Daze Grooming," will be washing dogs for a nominal fee with all proceeds going to The Haven.

Those interested in finding their canine compliment will be in luck as well. The Haven's mobile adoption unit will be on hand with several dogs available for adoption.

"The American Legion All Stars" will be on hand for entertainment and food will be available. Haven memorabilia will be on sale and information for pet owners will be available.
