Deadly accident on Hwy. 31 in Stapleton

STAPLETON, Ala. (WALA) - Alabama state troopers are working a deadly accident along Highway 31 near Bromley Road in Stapleton.

The crash happened around 5:30 Wednesday morning. At least one person was killed, another was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Baldwin county authorities, including Spanish Fort Police are on the scene directing traffic. Please avoid that intersection if possible.

State Troopers are not releasing any other information right now. The names of the victims will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
