Elderly Alzhiemer's sufferer found

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE, 11 p.m. 7/29: Joyce Ludke was found by Escambia County SO at 11:43 p.m. on July 28. She has been safely returned to her family.

An 81-year-old Alzhemier’s disease sufferer hasn’t been heard from since leaving her home Saturday afternoon.

Robertsdale Police said Joyce Ludke left her residence in Robertsdale around 2 p.m. driving her silver 2007 Lincoln Town Car.

The vehicle’s Alabama license plate number is 5A8C20  and the rear part of the roof is vinyl.

Police said Ludke said she was going to her old home in Rosinton when she left, but has not been heard from since then. She was last seen wearing a yellow sweater and shirt with white pants, the outfit in the photograph.
