BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WALA) - The former wife of Alabama football great Kenny Stabler was arrested in Baldwin County Thursday. Rose Stabler is charged with disorderly conduct, according to the jail log at the Baldwin County Corrections Facility.

She was booked around 7 a.m. Wednesday, but posted a $100 bond later for her release.

Stabler is the ex-wife Stabler, who played for the Crimson Tide from 1964 to 1967 before being drafted to the Oakland Raiders in 1968.

The couple separated in 2001, according to court records. Afterward, the IRS said Kenny owed more than $580,000 in back taxes. This legal trouble forced the couple to liquidate real estate to cover the taxes. One of those properties sold in 2008 was Rose's home on Ono Island.
