FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) - Fairhope Police said they are not looking for anyone involved in the Saturday disappearance of Paige Roe.
"All the things we could find. There are no suspects. Everything appears to be just what it was. She was out for a walk, fell down," said Sgt. Fred King.
Investigators spoke with Roe Monday, February 18; they believe she took a fall and became disoriented.
"I went to the hospital and spoke to her briefly this morning. She was found yesterday evening, a gentleman was dropping off his child at church and it appeared she had fallen," said King.
Police believe she fell, then came to rest where she was found Sunday . Police said a man picking up his child from church found Roe.
The Fairhope mother was found on the grounds of a local church around 8 p.m. Sunday. She had been missing since Saturday, when she left a note at her home saying she was going out for a walk.
Temperatures reached the 20's Sunday morning. King said Roe didn't quite remember all the events and he hopes as she continues to recover, more of her memory will come back.
"No foul play, no other suspects, it doesn't appear anyone else was involved," King said.
Fairhope Police said they do want to thank the community in acting so quickly, getting the word out on social media and for the volunteers who came out to help search.
Fox10 News asked family members if they wanted to talk. They didn't.
When Roe didn't return, her family members called police.
Roe was taken to Thomas Hospital for treatment.
