GULF SHORES, Ala. (WALA) - This weekend, 35,000 music fans will bring their business to Gulf Shores, Ala. for this year's The Hangout music festival.
The economic impact during the festival, scheduled for May 18-20, is estimated to be about $30 million for the city of Gulf Shores.
It's held on the weekend before Memorial Day and the annual event has grown into the summer kick-off on Alabama's Gulf Coast. Restaurants are stocking up and condos are selling out for this year's Hangout.
