GULF SHORES, Ala. (WALA) - As the Gulf Coast continues to track Tropical Storm Isaac, the weather in Gulf Shores was beautiful, Friday.

Vacationers and businesses said right now, it’s business as usual along the Gulf Coast.

Jane Claire Tew is from North Carolina. She said her crew is taking the necessary precautions but not too worried.

"No not really because we're from North Carolina and we're used to that kind of thing. So we'll take our precautions.  If we're not supposed to travel, we'll just stay here a little longer,” she said.

Steve Whatley with Suncoast Realty said they haven’t had many cancelations due to Isaac, and he hopes it stays that way.

"We're optimistic.  If it were later in the week, we probably would have a lot of cancellations…people getting antsy about what's going on for Labor Day weekend, but we're hopeful that it will come…blow through and we'll still have a beautiful Labor Day,”
