DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) - Manslaughter suspect Michael Bain was released from the Baldwin County Jail on $10,000 bond less than 48 hours after Daphne Police said he beat his friend Daniel Tuttle to death Saturday.

Baldwin County Correctional Facility records show Bain lives in Bay Minette. FOX10 News went to the address there hoping to hear his side of the story.

A woman told us, "No comment and no trespassing."

Michael Bain has made plans to meet with high profile defense attorney, John Beck, Monday afternoon.

As for the investigation, Daphne Police are not releasing any new information, including what might have sparked the altercation that ended Daniel Tuttle's life.

Saturday, Lt. Judson Beedy with the Daphne Police Department told FOX10 News, "It seems like certain events happened over the night and they became frustrated with each other, and it kind of came to a head early this morning (Saturday) out in the parking lot."

Police said the two were part of a group celebrating Tuttle's birthday.

Lt. Beedy said the Daphne Police Department is collecting video tapes from surrounding stores to see what, if anything, was caught by surveillance cameras.
