BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE: 1:01 p.m. - Alabama State Troopers say the left lane is reopened at this time. ALDOT will reopen the right lane after inspection.

11:11 a.m. - Alabama State Troopers are on the scene of an incident on northbound I-65 on the Gen W.K. Wilson Bridge just inside Baldwin County.

They say it seems that a tractor trailer carrying two steel coils had an issue with an axle and lost a tire causing one lane to become blocked.

Crews are on scene and will have to stop northbound traffic completely while they use a crane to transfer the coils to another truck. Work is estimated to take approximately an hour and should begin shortly.

Motorists are urged to delay their travel and avoid the area if possible.

ALDOT is on scene as well. Traffic will be diverted onto US 43 via Exit 19.
