The 41st Annual National Shrimp Festival is returning to its tradition of holding an annual contest to select its official poster.

All artists are welcome to apply and the winning artist will receive a one-time payment of $1,000. Contest deadline is March 9.

As in previous years, the poster design is expected to be incorporated not only in the Official National Shrimp Festival Poster, but also in various other retail items, including t-shirts, visors, etc.

All artwork submitted must convey all three major festival themes: art, food, and music.

Additional requirements, including requirements on size, content, legal issues and other requirements are covered on the Official Poster Contest section of the Chamber's website, at www.alagulfcoastchamber.com .
