The American Cancer Society and Tanger Outlets have teamed up to help cancer patients in the Baldwin County area this holiday season. The Annual Tis' the Season holiday donation drive is going on from now until Christmas at the Tanger Outlets in Foley.
This year the American Cancer Society is encouraging everyone to bring a gas or pharmacy gift card to donate to cancer patients in our community who will need extra assistance during this Holiday season.
"Driving to and from treatments everyday and paying a fortune for medications can really add to the stress and frustration of an already difficult situation, especially during the Holidays," said Kim Bertagnolli, Health Initiatives Representative for the American Cancer Society. "This is just one simple way that people in our community can give back and help others in need. Your donation of a gas or pharmacy gift card, available at most gas stations and/or pharmacies, will ensure patients keep their appointments and receive their much needed medication."
Tanger Outlets is so wonderful to give each person who donates a GAS or PHARMACY gift card a free coupon booklet to Tanger Outlets, their name entered into a drawing for a $25 Tanger Outlet gift card (drawn eight times), AND $5 off Photos with Santa ($30 Value).
Tanger outlets will be accepting donations until Christmas to help cancer patients in need. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go a long way! (Please no checks or cash donations.) If you would like to make a general contribution to the American Cancer Society, please call 928-8650. Your support is greatly appreciated!
