Year's biggest shopping day almost here

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - The countdown to Black Friday begins as shoppers prepare for one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

Lines have already formed in Tampa in preparation for big sales.

So far, there are no shoppers lined up at the Best Buy in Baldwin County and Mobile, Toys "R" Us or Target.

Black Friday has a certain appeal, some just like the just like the rush.  Others plan on avoided the crowds.

"I would prefer to stay home. Away from all the maniacs,” said Holly Espinosa.

Some local retailers told FOX10 on average folks start lining up in Mobile as early as Thanksgiving morning.
