MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Ingalls Shipbuilding confirmed to FOX10 News that  “appropriate government agencies” have been notified following the discovery of what it called time charging irregularities by employees at its Pascagoula facility.

Ingalls said it’s conducting a thorough investigation with outside experts and developing a plan to prevent further occurrences.

It said it is very disappointed in the individuals involved and the action does not reflect the culture at Ingalls.

The company said it expects to have more information as the investigation evolves.
