VANCLEAVE, Miss. (WALA) - Investigators with the Jackson County Criminal Investigations Division arrested Kevin Edward Johnson and charged him on a of grand larceny offense on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
According to authorities, the charges stem from a report being filed by a Vancleave resident stating several items were taken from his property. Investigators said they discovered Johnson sold the items at local pawn shops.
Officials said all of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Johnson had an initial appearance in Jackson County Court and Judge T. Larry Wilson set Johnson’s bail at $5,000.
Johnson faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine, if convicted.
