Two dead after Lucedale accident

LUCEDALE, Miss. (AP) -
Update, Sunday, Feb 3, 2012: Authorities identified two people killed in an accident in George County on Friday night as Herman Ray Harvard and Jonathan Lamar Ford.
 
Earlier: The George County Sheriff's Department says two people died in a traffic accident Friday night.
 
The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of relatives.
 
Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Shonna Pierce says deputies responding to a 911 call about 7 p.m.  found the accident on a county road in the  southeast corner of George County.
 
Pierce says two people, who also were not identified, were injured and taken to nearby hospitals. Their conditions were not known.
 
Sheriff's deputies and Mississippi Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
